Great Danes U11A's 8 Vs Singh Sabha Barking 0 CYFL DIV 1 30/11/2008 - Under 11A's.




Great Danes got back to winning ways with a convincing 8-0 league win over Singh Sabha Barking.

Persistent rain and an almost waterlogged pitch didn't make for ideal playing conditions.

Danes started well with the midfield of Head , Gilham , Whipps and Oliver pushing forward and creating chances for Jacobs and Farmer.

Any attacks by Singh Sabha were quickly stifled by Dunn , Perry , Cassinos and Nyiro in defence.

Kyle Juniper in goal had little to do but keep warm in the 1st half.

The Danes pressure began to tell and Liam Whipps finished well 3 times to complete a 1st hatrick and give the Danes a 3-0 half time lead.



The 2nd Half saw Singh Sabha play their best football of the game and for the 1st 10 minutes Danes had to be resolute in defence.

Danes began to push forward and play football in the Singh Sabha half creating a number of chances and pressurising the Singh Sabha defence.

Eventually with increasing numbers of Danes players attacking , further goals from Liam Whipps , Georgie Farmer , Charlie Jacobs 2 and a headed goal from Jack Oliver

saw Danes worthy 8-0 winners.

Danes look forward to their Cup game against Hutton next week.
